In 2008, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University. In 2018 I completed my master’s in Social Work from the University of New England. I am currently provisionally licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-A) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS-A). I have over 3 years of clinical experience as a substance use counselor working with individuals with drug addiction, mental health, crisis intervention, and structured outpatient programs. I have a range of clinical experience working with individuals and groups during my professional career in the following areas:

• Suicide Assessment and Risk Reduction

My approach to treatment includes collaborating with the client to develop SMART goals for therapy and provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Services provided include individual, youth, and group therapy. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. I examine how mental health and substance use impacts the holistic wellbeing of the person.
